Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Our first snowfall of the season was November 6th, one whole week ago now! The boys donned on the snow gear and out they went, until I had to call them in to leave for hockey! Today they are out building a snowman and I have just been summoned to get the camera and take a picture of their masterpiece! After this mornings hockey practice and game, we came home to a balmy three degrees and I decided it would be a great day to put up the exterior lights. However, while doing that, the wind picked up, the temperatures dropped and there were even snow flurries in the air! Miles is picking up some red and green potlights, as I type and will hopefully get those up today too. Last year we alternated red, green, white but this year we will just do red/green since the white took away from the coloured ones :) So much for the 'candy cane effect' - it was also one less potlight to exchange!

As  for my good intentions of getting everything into the shed on time... The snow beat me!
