Science Centre

On Thursday, I decided to do something fun with the boys and took them to the Science Centre, since they had no school this week. It really is a great place and has a lot of fun exhibits. It has changed quite a bit from last time we were there too... we then grabbed McDonald's for lunch and then I took them for much needed haircuts!

Just inside the door, there was a dinosaur station and the boys got to be paleontologists, brushing the dirt of the bones!

Next there's the wall where you need to connect the 'teeth' of the circles and get them all moving together...

Cole's gonna push the button too - note his very reflective boots :)

Ethan playing with the mirrors

Kid K'Nex - we have these things at home but it was so fun to have every piece you ever needed right at your fingertips!

Liam's creation...

Ethan concentrating!

Cole getting right in there!

Mommy & Cole

Jackson's spider... he noticed some 'blueprints' on the side of the table and used them! Well done!

A K'Nex carousel

Checking out the critters... Cole is very thrilled with the 'Bearded Dragon'

On the combine :)

Ethan driving the combine

Cole on the combine (the interior windows had moving fields, so it looked like you were really combining from inside!)

One day's worth of cow poop! (incase you wanted to know) The whole room was one week's worth :)

Self explanitory!

The combine :)

Checking out grain...

Bubbles!

Much to the others dissapointment, only Liam could get these perfect bubble bumps!

Liam making his bubble masterpieces!

Liam working the dryer... spinning away...

Ethan making a movie

E&J seeing how a strip of paper can become a movie by putting it in the spinner :)

The helicopter

... in the helicopter

Cole the miner...

Jackson the miner (minus the magnetic clothes!)

'Cool Runnings'... my bobsled team :)

Cole LOVED this hockey player :)

Wow! That does look like fun. Our kids loved Science world in Vancouver when we took them. I just got another pass for there, so we'll go back soon.

Todd loved all the pics of Jackson's team playing their game.
