Seeing spots....

On day three of our holidays, Ethan woke up with the chicken pox. We decided to carry on with camping but informed everyone that we planned to see that "we have the chicken pox" - most were ok with it, being that their kids had been immunized. Ethan was sooo good throughout it all and his only issue was not being able to go in the pool - for him that was heartbreaking! Miles took him to SkyTrek Adventures though and that was totally up his alley (pictures to follow in another post). When we got home, almost two weeks later, we were anticipating that Jackson and Cole would get them. Sure enough, they showed up the next day. Liam is thankfully immunized, so he should go spot free (other than those pesky mosquitoes that seem to love him so much!) Poor Jackson has it ten times worse than Ethan and it is painful to look at him and see him suffer. Baby Cole is nine months old and therefore doesn't understand his extreme discomfort. Last night was BRUTAL for me as both boys had trouble sleeping and there was nothing more I could do for them.... Cole had his chubby palm and rubbed his head all night long. His spot are mostly in his neck & groin creases, with a handful on his back and front, as well as lots on his head! Oh well - now our household is done with them...
