Spring Break and friends :)

The boys are off on Spring Break this week, so we've been planning lotsa fun with friends! On Tuesday we met Melanie & her 3 boys at the Science Centre and spent a few hours together there, followed by gourmet lunch at McDonald's :) On Wednesday, we headed outta town to Lauren's for haircuts and spent the day playing with her 4 boys! Yes, no shortage of BOYS in our friendship circle :) Today, we are off to the park with more friends! We are blessed!

At the K'Nex exhibit

The mom's show off their matching masterpieces (we copied a patteren)

Coley busy making something!

Liam's creation

Melanie made her own butterfly (no pattern to go by) & here is Bennett showing it off! Well done! Don't you love how the eyes are lined up with B's?

Flowers :)

Checking out critters in the cave

a bat having a snack - isn't he cute!? (shudder)

7 little boys in the jaws of something - sadly enough, this picture turned out better than my attempted Easter photo shoot of just 4 boys!

Ethan was very upset that the younger kids found such joy in bursting his bubble... literally! Everytime Cole walked up the little ramp, he slipped and you can see how wet his shirt is!

The video clip showed a 'cows life' - including the birth of a calf, that you would have thought broke it's neck when it landed!

'Smells like'... this was kinda gross - when you pushed the button, scented air comes out & you hafta guess what the smell is... pot roast, fresh soil etc!

playing in the poop...
Nice piggy...

"Listen - Wilbur is MY pig... get away!" (Cole is having a 'Three Stooges' moment here)

how many boys does it take to drive a combine?

Cole in his glory, with full access to the steering wheel

BUGS!
Hauling the train on the tracks - it is full of grain (AKA little yellow balls)

loading the train

basketball
... standing on the step to see the mirrors (see below)

'How many of YOU can you see?'

Wheee

Jones' Garage

mechanic :)
a tub full of dirt & water - how much fun is that for little boys!?

mucking...

more mucking...

experiment time

Ethan with experiment reminants - it was a water balloon dipped into something (I was watching little kids and not paying attention) and it froze instantly!!!

What an interesting day!
So many things to do and see.
The "hands on " stuff is great.

Looks like a great day of exploring! The smell exhibit is definately not normal and would likely cause a gag-reflex!

Great photos - thanks!

ps - got your Christmas/Easter letter and photos today - very cute!
