After living in the hotel for three nights, we headed to Miles' family for four nights over Christmas. Thankfully the weather warmed up a tiny bit and the kids were able to head outside to sled and play in the snow. The ladies (only five of us in a family of 18) got in a little boxing day shopping, the guys and kids ran around the house in a big nerf gun war (they all got one in their stockings), games were played, food was eaten, the grandchildren put on a nativity play, we watched our nephew's hockey game and after four nights of togetherness, we headed back to life in a hotel!!!

Great pics! Beautiful trees at BL's!! And, you know.... Bible scholars often say that Jesus was about 2 years old when the Wise Men came to see him, so really, Cole's not that far off for playing this role!!!! But, I do have to say that Ethan made the perfect baby Jesus that year you were out before our wedding... he was about 4 months old, right?
