Camping Memories... Phase One

Like I mentioned in the previous post, we headed away camping for a few days this past week & met up with Miles' aunt, uncle & cousin. We had a great visit with them around the picnic table, firepit etc - it was all good camping fun and as always, we ate way too much! We went to the beach, pool, walked the trail, peddled boats, played in the dirt & enjoyed the great outdoors :) With four days, four boys and 500+ pictures, it was hard to just pick a couple faves, so sorry for the photo overload!

Moose... we were walking along the 'Woodlands Trail' and came across a moose! Ethan had sighted one (a buck according to him) earlier in theday, when we were driving, so we knew they were in the neoighbourhood! Knowing that they are powerful animals, we stayed back while Miles quietly tried to take a picture - all of a sudden a calf appeared on the other side, so we had to wait it out until they were both on the same side & headed into the woods! Wouldn't want to get between a momma moose & her babe!
