Happy Father's Day

This past weekend we went to Saskatoon to have supper (Sunday night) with Miles' family. We left here on Saturday, with the trailer in tow and decided to do a trial run with our new rig! Gotta say... I like! It wasn't real camping though, since we were in the city & ate out all but one meal. Some would say it's not 'real' camping anyway being that we have a luxurious trailer!!!! The first campsite we were at was a complete mud-hole and had nothing that they claimed to have on their web-site... plus when you asked the receptionist simple questions, the answer was "I don't know - I've just been here since September". This place didn't allow campfires, plus we got completely rained out, so headed into 'Toon-Town' for supper and to spend my Christmas and birthday lululemon gift certificates! Whoo-hoo! Day two.... the kidlets were up WWWAAAAAYYYYYYY too early! We had brunch & then moved camp, to a site that was far superior and not even a dollar more... water, electrical, sewer dump, lilac bushes, flower pots hanging from trees, campfire, an amazing playground - you name it! Only... we didn't get to enjoy it all because we had plans to meet Miles' family at the Forestry Farm (a little Canadian wildlife zoo of sorts)
and then on to supper, followed by ice cream! The weather was way better on Sunday :) By the time we got back to our campsite, we wouldv'e only been allowed a fire for about an hour & being that Miles had to be back at work on Monday afternoon, we had to pull out by 8:30am! But... it was a good little trial run and the boys were thrilled to see their cousins again! I hope all the dad's out there had a great FATHER'S DAY! Hi Dad! (Sorry your e-card didn't go through but I did send one! Honest!)
