We're just getting home from a night away... went to Saskatoon for Miles' mom's 65th birthday. The whole family came for the night, we had supper, stayed the night (S'toon Inn), swam in the pool, had brunch and finished up at Kinsmen Park (a fun kiddie park with three rides - a train, ferris wheel and carousal). The day was beautiful until we were half way home and it turned into an icky, wet, electrical storm!
Before meeting up with the party group, we went over and met some relatives on my dad's side of the family, for the afternoon. (our dad's are cousins, our grandma's are sisters) They graciously opened up their home to us, entertained the boys, took me to scrapbook stores (how fun is that!?) and we had a great visit! So if any of you are reading this... thanks for the fun!!! - it was great to finally meet you and see Dorothy and Carol again too :) We'll catch you on camera next time!
