TOURNAMENT WEEKEND!!!! This past weekend was kind of a blur in our household... on Saturday, Miles had to be on the ice half an hour west of the city @ 8am, while Ethan had to be on the ice at 8:30am in the city. Miles then joined us at the rink & got Ethan on the ice for his noon game, while I headed 20 minutes east of the city to get Jackson on the ice for 12:30pm. Miles then went to work for a couple hours and Ethan was delivered home by another family. We had a two hour break at home and the boys played out on the driveway with bikes & scooters in the sunshine!!! Jackson's last game of the season was at 4:30pm and Miles was also back on the ice at the same time. Miles ended up winning his game, so they played again @ 7:20pm and the boys and I headed out to watch daddy's last game of the year! On Sunday, Ethan had games in the city at 9:45am and 4:30pm (so we thought). After Ethan's first game, we went to Denny's for brunch and then dropped Miles off at the office for an hour. I was to take the truck through the car wash but the first one was closed and the second one would have taken and hour & a half! Went to WalMart instead to get 'stuff' for lunches and milk and as we were heading back to pick up Miles, I got a call from Ethan's coach saying that his game was actually at 3:15pm instead of 4:30pm! This actually worked out better for us, being that the boys started swimming lessons @ 6:15pm :)
Unfortunately for Jackson & Miles, my camera card was not in my camera on Saturday, so I have no pictures of them but was able to redeem myself for Ethan on Sunday! I do have hockey pictures of Jackson so it wasn't the worst case scenario! Their team wind-ups will be this coming weekend. Bowling & goodies for Jackson on Friday night and a kids vs parents hockey game, followed by a BBQ, for Ethan's team on Saturday night!
First game: White Jersey's (home)

Jesse - our team goalie

We won our last game: 9-0
The boys played great and have been on the 'zero' side of things a couple times, so they were thrilled (we weren't impresed that the scorekeeper actually kept adding to the scoreboard though since we don't usually like to post more than a 5 point lead)

Shaking hands with the other team (we are the red jersey's)

Ethan's team: "The Blizzards"

All done... and thus the title 'hockey happiness' - happy to get a bit of a break, happy that everyone did so well this season and happy for newfound friendships we gained along the way...

haha! Love how he is biting the medal :)
Great pics! What a busy weekend... you don't only have to worry about the kids getting places on time, you've got a husband to help keep track of ice time for! Wow! I couldn't keep up!
