Rock the boat

Seven years ago now, when I was pregnant with my firstborn, my dad surprised us with a cradle that he was making for us! Now this wasn't just any cradle, it was a "Baby Tender" - a perfect replica of a little boat! All the planks were steamed, there are rivets and pullies and many different types of wood... it is truly a work of art and an incredible masterpiece. The sad day came on Wednesday, when we had to 'boot' baby Cole out of the boat and put it (cradle) into storage while we sell the house. Cole was pretty much ready to float across the pond to his new room and was outgrowing the boat but I'm sure he could've lasted a couple more weeks if given the chance! Sigh - my last baby moves out of the cradle - they grow up so fast!
